To use the Normatec 3 Leg and Hip Recovery system, start by securely attaching the leg and hip compression sleeves around your legs and hips ensuring any zippers are fully zipped up, as partial or unzipped sleeves could void the warranty. Connect the hose firmly to the control unit until you hear a click, then power on the unit by pressing and holding the power button. Use the Attachment Selection button to choose between Legs or Hips treatment modes; for hips, the device automatically runs a two-zone compression pattern. Adjust the compression intensity from levels 1 to 7 using the Pressure Level button—level 1 is the gentlest, and higher levels increase intensity. Set your preferred session time in 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes with the Time Adjustment button. Optionally, activate ZoneBoost to focus additional compression on specific zones. Press the Start/Stop button to begin the session, during which the sleeves inflate and deflate sequentially from the distal to proximal zones, mimicking a massage movement. At session end, the device will automatically deflate. You can pause or stop the session anytime by pressing the Start/Stop button. After use, turn off the device, disconnect the hose, and remove the sleeves. Always use the device seated or reclined and consult a healthcare provider if you experience pain or discomfort.
